 Another Moon Mtn Project 

    This week I was asked by my manager to update our Functional Drink Menu, after showing them my t-shirt designs and posters I created for the last class they wanted to see what else I could come up with. My tactic was to create something similar to what they had while adding a little character to make the viewers want to take a closer look. Using the Moon Mountain firefly image created for one of the shirts, fit nicely as a background. Photoshop was the software used, which I should have tried out something different like illustrator or InDesign, just to give myself a taste of something new. Although for the sake of time and execution, I just used Photoshop. My only struggle was adding the descriptions for the drinks, my boss had specific details they wanted to keep. If it was up to me I would have omitted quite a bit but other than that it was great practice for what it would feel like working with a client. 

    Right now my goal is to create things that will end up in my portfolio, which is very exciting to think about. So taking advantage of our creativity blogs to really test myself on my skills or trying something new is the goal. Our classes are flying by and before we know it, we are going to be creating websites and portfolios. Still very unsure of where this degree will take me, career wise, but keeping an open mind and really refining my skills is all that I can do in the mean time. I had a ton of fun creating t-shirt designs and could see myself having a job like that. Although this project we are currently working on has also opened my eyes to what could be. So like I said before, keeping my mind open and just working on my craft until we get to that step.
