Painting Project

    This exercise I chose to do a painting project,  using two inspirations to create one piece of art. The line art was used just as the initial inspiration for the subject I wanted to use. The second image is something I come across alot of Pinterest, which always catches my eye. I did not use any outline, it was a free hand painting with no real plan. I wanted to let the subject speak to me, when I think about a cup of coffee brown, and nude colors were coming to mind. The maroon came to me because one of my favorite jobs in the past used little round maroon and black coffee mugs which I loved! I wouldn't say that my painting was completely finished, I stopped because I needed to take a step back and evaluate if it was becoming to busy or if I needed to add more to the elements.
