Week 1: Web Programming
This Week in Design
This week in design was a whirlwind of HTML and CSS. Web programming is a very tedious process, although once you really get into each element it’s not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Being someone who was a young teen on MySpace, editing the CSS on my profile, brought back some memories.
When you start coding, there are a lot of things to keep in mind. You have to be aware of your spelling, symbols, spacing, pixels in photos.and so much more. Here are some codes we learned this past week.
We use <> to start an attribute and <\> to close I so and example would be before starting a paragraph you would put <p> and at the end of that paragraph you would put<\p>.
Paragraph: p
Heading: h1, h2, etc
Head: head
Body: body
Title: title
Image: img src=
Unordered list: ul
Ordered list: ok
List item: li
In my next blog will go more into depth about how you would use these, and how you can resize photos, change colors of text, add borders, and a few other cool tricks we learned. Thanks for reading ☺️
