Week 3: What I Learned
Key Points
When coding web pages there are some key points to keep in mind.
1. Every image needs an alt tag, this helps your google rating as well as gives your webpage good accessibility.
2. When creating an inline tag with multiple attributes, you order them in the opposite order of which you opened the tag with so for example = <li><h2>........</h2></li>
3. Creating site maps will help you out in the long run because it will help you decipher where to put all of your content.
4. For me, marking up the content before putting it in dream weaver helped so much. It made things more organized and easier to move through.
5.Its very important to keep all of your dreamweaver files in the same folder under the proper names or your site will not work. Unfortunately I learned the hard way and it has been a struggle getting my site to work.
This web programming class has been a bit overwhelming for me and i have really been trying to push through but its just not clicking all the way, I would have loved to spend more time one this subject to really understand the material. Because when I think i understand it then I go home I feel a bit lost at times.
