Logo Enhancement

So this blog I will share a little logo work I did for one of the regulars at my current job. He went to an Ai bot to create a logo for his Bait Business he is starting, and wanted some high quality images so he could put his logo on shirts and other merchandise. So all I really did was create some high quality vector based graphics so he had more freedom on the scale of his logo vs the jpg he got from the chat bot.

For this, he let me have a little more creative freedom. And since I do not have the best drawing skills I used Adobe's Ai to my advantage on Illustrator. Finding my favorite generation of a large mouth sea bass, with a halo, jumping to a bait. Honestly since I was not receiving much pay for it I did not spend too much time on it. But he was happy with the final product, looking at it now I would edit a few things.

Then he sent me a photo of another logo he created and asked me to remove the background. And using the "remove background" button on Photoshop just didn't cut it for me. Plus I seen this as a learning experience for me, and I ran with it. I dropped the photo into chat and asked it what typeface was being used and what adobe had that was the closest to it. Once I found a typeface I was happy with I added a bevel as well as a slight chrome finish to the letters. I traced out the swoops, and I created a star and added a neon glow effect to give it a similar look. There is still something off about it but he was happy with it and was okay with using it. I should have brought it to class to get a little help but he was in a bit of a rush we didn't have time to do that.
