Business Card

1 - Based upon the jobs you looked at and the requested skills of each, identify a piece you have previously created that you could improve to show you possess the skills being requested, or create a new project to show that you have the skills the employer is looking for.

Redesign

For this project I took it back all the way to our very first design, the business card from September 2024. When I first designed my business card I wasn't sure what I wanted it to look like, what my style was and how to achieve the picture in my head. Using a bold typeface with all caps and a water texture in the background. It was a very clear early design. Now it wasn't horrible for a first time design but it wasn't great either. 

Design From 2024

With this card I did draw inspriation from my Amore Amor card we created for our resturant. The color scheme and feel really spoke to me so I did decide to go off of those. I used the type faces that are used in my Luvly Threads designs. I really loved the logo I created for that brand so I did draw a lot of inspiration from there. The script typeface to contrast the typewriter typeface, on a textured paper background just gave those elements of most of my work. I will say with most of the week I was working on my fesitval project so I did not spend too much time on this project so I will go back to the drawing board for this business card. As well as updating my email and website once I start my online portfolio but for now this is what I have.
